The beautiful city of ‘s-Hertogenbosch which the local’s & the Dutchies call Den Bosch, is such a wonderful city full of historic buildings & museums, trendy cafes & restaurants & lets not forget all the wonderful shops!
I just love this city❤️ It has a warm & welcoming atmosphere that is hard to beat. We planned a day visit last summer & what a lovely day it was.
One thing Jo, Den & I enjoy doing is exploring cities & hunting for interior shops & finding design inspiration, & Den Bosch ticks all those boxes.
Another thing that I’m truly smitten about is that almost every town in the Netherlands sells gorgeous fresh flowers at their markets, better known as bloemenmarkt. The beautiful aromas & stunning colours always leaves dazzling effect.
Shopping in Den Bosch, where is one to start? Our first stop & one we would high recommend is Robbies, one must have good coffee first before the adventure of shopping begins ! The department store is beautifully layed out & it has the extra charm of being an old bank, the vault is an impressive feature to the building. Robbies has a selection of wonderful products from all things interior, to fashion & food. Back to that coffee ☕️ & one thing you must try when visiting Den Bosch is an Bossche Bol, yum yum, it’s a must.
